The Environmental Stewardship Program empowers our neighbors to grow thriving plants and communities in our beautiful parks and beyond. Our work restores our native plants and animals to their important ecological roles. This work naturally builds climate resilience, food sovereignty, and sustainability in our East Lansing community.
The heart of our work is ecological restoration and community building. We share resources and work with our neighbors to create sustainable communities. We create rain gardens, monitor & remove invasive species, and plant native plants and trees that will thrive for years to come.
