The 100 Families Initiative is a collaborative, community-driven effort dedicated to helping families move from crisis to stability. Rooted in faith and fueled by compassion, the initiative aims to address the root causes of poverty and provide families with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. By connecting families with churches, organizations, and advocates, we empower them to achieve holistic well-being.
How It Works
The initiative is centered on a personalized and collaborative approach:
- Assessment: Families are evaluated in 13 key areas that influence their overall health and stability.
- Action Plan: A customized plan is created to address immediate needs and long-term goals.
- Collaboration: Families are connected with resources through partnerships with churches, nonprofits, and community organizations.
- Advocacy: Family advocates walk alongside families, offering support and guidance as they work toward their goals.
- Spiritual Growth: Families are linked with local churches for discipleship and spiritual support.
The Student Follow-Up Assistant will support the 100 Families Initiative by maintaining regular contact with families, tracking progress, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
Hours: Up to 8 hours per week
Reports to: 100 Families Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Make scheduled follow-up calls or emails to families to check on progress and needs.
- Record updates in the HopeHub system.
- Alert the Coordinator of any urgent needs or crisis situations.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records.
