The 100 Families Initiative is a collaborative, community-driven effort dedicated to helping families move from crisis to stability. Rooted in faith and fueled by compassion, the initiative aims to address the root causes of poverty and provide families with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. By connecting families with churches, organizations, and advocates, we empower them to achieve holistic well-being.
How It Works
The initiative is centered on a personalized and collaborative approach:
- Assessment: Families are evaluated in 13 key areas that influence their overall health and stability.
- Action Plan: A customized plan is created to address immediate needs and long-term goals.
- Collaboration: Families are connected with resources through partnerships with churches, nonprofits, and community organizations.
- Advocacy: Family advocates walk alongside families, offering support and guidance as they work toward their goals.
- Spiritual Growth: Families are linked with local churches for discipleship and spiritual support.
The Student Agency Liaison will work to strengthen relationships with partner agencies, ensuring they are engaged with the HopeHub platform and actively referring families.
Reports to: 100 Families Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Contact partner agencies to encourage and assist with HopeHub engagement.
- Follow up to ensure agencies are entering referrals and updates.
- Provide agencies with information and resources about the 100 Families Initiative.
- Track agency participation and report on engagement levels.
- Attend community meetings to promote the program.
Skills Required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfort with technology and online platforms.
- Ability to represent the organization professionally.
