The R. E Olds Transportation Museum has been around since 1978, and with that comes an extensive collection. Our collection goes back to the founding the original Olds Motor Vehicle Company back in 1897 and continues on the present. Within our collect we can tell the story the American auto industry and local Lansing history. The museum is now looking to further protect these pieces of history by scanning and uploading them to a digital database. The museum recently acquired a subscription to catalogue software company, called catalogue-it, that any volunteer would be fully trained on prior to starting.
