Waverly High School is looking for tutors to provide academic support for students in grades 9-12, with varying levels of academic skill sets, in the following categories:
· Math: algebra 1, algebra 2, statistics, geometry, pre-calculus, and calculus
· English: reading comprehension, writing, grammar
· Science: biology, chemistry, physics
· Social Studies: US History, world history, US government, economics
· World Language: Spanish and French
Expectations
· Communicate effectively with young adults
· Deliver learning in an understandable manner
· Punctual and reliable
· Dress is 'business casual'. There are no strict rules, but remember you are a role model for the students you are serving
· Language - same as above.
· Relationships are important in this profession as well as boundaries - no exchanging of personal information with students (FaceBook, Instagram, cell #s, etc.)
