Looking for a unique and interesting volunteer opportunity consider becoming a docent at the museum. Every Saturday the museum offers a free public tour and is currently looking for new docents. As a docent you will guide guests through the museum offering a deeper level of insight of the exhibits. Even if you not an expert of Lansing history or never heard of Oldsmobile before you can become a docent. We have an in depth docent manual and you would have an opportunity to shadow as many tours as you want before you feel comfortable giving one yourself.
