Vendors sell a variety of fresh seasonal produce, food-bearing plants, pastured beef, chicken, and pork, handmade sausages, smoked cheeses and butter, eggs, fruit preserves, pickled veggies, sauces/salsas, soup/dip mix, spices/seasonings, local wildflower honey, elderberry syrup, sea moss smoothies, roasted coffee, fruit infused herbal teas, artisan sourdough and yeast breads, desserts, potted plants, cut flowers, plant-based personal, household, and apothecary products, and all natural pet snacks. The food court offers Mexican, Chinese, Lebanese, and Soul Food options, as well as frozen treats.
Volunteers are welcome every Thursday, May 14 through October 22. We offer two shifts per market, 1:30-4:30 and 4:30-7:30. 1st shift volunteers help set up canopies, tables, chairs for market staff and vendors who need assistance. 2nd shift volunteers help with tear down. While the market is open (3-7pm), volunteers greet shoppers, track attendance, help process EBT transactions at the bank, engage with community members at our garden/nutrition education booth, support vendors who can't leave their booths (fill water bottles, bring them food, guard their booth so they can use the restroom), monitor the pet station (treats and water), and other tasks as arise. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for both shifts.
