MSU Engaged Learners will assist with the development of literacy activities for the Gospel Literacy Curriculum (GLC) developed by The Well Education Center to be offered to missions stateside and abroad to assist students with literacy.
MSU Engaged Learners will be scheduled to arrive 15 mins before the first tutoring session for the afternoon to ensure arrival before the session begins and receive instruction about the day.
MSU Engaged Learners will be taught to create lesson specific materials using the Canva platform (gather pictures from the Canva library to illustrate the word lists for stories in the curriculum). They will read story passages and lesson overviews for the day and build activities from the concepts covered.
MSU Engaged Learners will have a brief review each day to ensure they are on track with expectations and address concerns.
MSU Engaged Learners please feel free to select one or more days to volunteer each week. Shifts are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 2:30pm to 4:00pm (1.5h each day)
